What's New

Aloha, this is where you will find updated information for the 2010 Honolulu Triathlon. Be sure to bookmark this page and keep checking back as we make improvements to this event. We are getting some great ideas from the survey.

We are committed to making this event an International event and appreciate you suggestions and feedback.

check NEW for 2010: We are pleased to announce that we have added a few events in conjunction with the Triathlon. We added a Duathlon, 1500M Swim Race, and 10K Road Race. Check out the website for details about these exciting additions.
check Registration: We heard you loud and clear and have made it easier and seamless for all categories to register.
check T-shirts: NEW T-shirts to be proud of when working out or for casual wear – got it.
check Pre-Race Briefings: The reason we have mandatory briefings is because it’s required by our insurance carrier, USAT. We will shorten them and focus on the important details.
check Mandatory Bike Racking The Day Before: We do this the day before because of the early morning start. It takes way too long to do it day of, and would delay the start of the race. We have 24 Hour Security plus the Transition Area is well lite with powerful lights.
check Parking: We now offer Event Parking on-site. Check the website for details.
check More Water Aid Stations: There are four on the run course - 2 out and back stations. We will extend these, make them longer and try to offer at least one more.
check Run Course Markings: We will do better in marking the course for this year.
check Bike & Run Course Turns: Here is what we have planned. Each category would have a different color number. Olympic - ORANGE, Sprint - GREEN, Youth – BLUE. The cones and signage on the course would match these colors indicating where you would need to turn. Simply follow your color.
check Post Race Food: FRIED is out.
check Tenting For Awards Ceremony: Got it.
